Who is United Way of Moore County, NC?

Located in Southern Pines, North Carolina, the United Way of Moore County, NC is a private non-profit organization with a local board of directors whose mission is to make a measurable impact on the quality of life in the community by addressing our essential human service issues. Contributions to United Way stay right here in our community. We help donors help our friends and neighbors through crisis and day-to-day living.

Since 1968, it has been our pleasure here at United Way of Moore County to serve our local community. We are proud to have raised millions of dollars for the good of those living in Moore County communities: from Robbins to Lobelia, from Eureka to Eagle Springs and every neighborhood in between. Every year, local nonprofits receive United Way grants enabling them to bring our neighbors the very best in programs for their targeted needs. Our pledge to you is to continually assess the needs of our community and invest every dollar donated to our local United Way wisely, just as we have done for more than 50 years.  We will continue prioritizing the best interests of Moore County residents, whether you’re just moving here or have always lived here. This is OUR community and we are YOUR United Way of Moore County!

Thank you for your commitment to us and our role in this special community. Thank you for your support of the young and the young at heart, the hopeless and the hopeful. We thank you for joining us, keeping the best interests of the whole community at the heart of all that we do.

Give. Advocate. Volunteer. Live United!
