Who is the United Way of Moore County, NC?

Located in Southern Pines, North Carolina, the United Way of Moore County, NC is a private non-profit organization with a local board of directors whose mission is to make a measurable impact on the quality of life in the community by addressing our essential human service issues. Contributions to United Way stay right here in our community. We help donors help our friends and neighbors through crisis and day-to-day living.

Since 1968, it has been the pleasure of the United Way of Moore County to serve our community. We are coming up on our 50th anniversary and are proud to have raised millions of dollars for the good of those living in Moore County communities: from Robbins to Lobelia, from Eureka to Eagle Springs and every community in between. Our pledge to you is to continue to assess the needs of the community and to invest wisely every dollar donated to our local United Way.  Every year 17 or more local nonprofits receive United Way grants enabling them to bring to our residents the very best in programs for their targeted needs. We will continue to have the best interest of Moore County people whether you’re just moving here or have always lived here. We are YOUR United Way!

We thank you for your commitment to our role in the community. Thank you for your support of the young and the young at heart, the hopeless and the hopeful. We thank you for joining us in having the best interests of the whole community at the heart of what we do. Give.  Advocate. Volunteer. Live United!
